This application is designed to help navigate and to inform new students that come to Zagreb. It uses location services to determine your current location and to calculate distance to the desired destinations. It also provides links that contain latitude and longitude coordinates and sends them to the native navigation Map app on the device. So we use native Map app for navigational purposes. We also have small in house sponsor banner adds on the bottom of the screen. These are linked to the sponsors websites.
In some tabs there are scripts that fetch information from our servers. This information is daily updated food menus for student restaurants, and canteens. This updates occur when user taps the canteen page in application. The data downloaded is very small and cannot compromise users cellular data plan.
